
The International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development and Child & Family Global Outreach have partnered to offer a 12 part webinar series designed to support Early Career Scholars in sharing developmental science beyond academia and into the hands of parents, practitioners, and policymakers.
All webinars are one hour long, with a 45 minute presentation and a 15 minute live Q and A. The series is designed primarily for Early Career Scholars, but is open to all. Recordings are available for those unable to attend live.

This session continues the joint mission of supporting Early Career Scholars to take developmental science into real-world impact.
Presenters
Dr. Eva Yi-hung Lau
Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Professor Eva Yi-hung Lau is the Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the Education University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on how parenting influences child outcomes across various developmental transitions. She has led numerous research and community projects, securing donations and competitive research grants totaling over 110 million Hong Kong dollars. She also frequently engages with the media to disseminate her research findings and project outputs, as well as to advocate for policy change to extend the reach and impact of her work.
Dr. Lixian Cui
NYU Shanghai, China
Lixian Cui, Associate Professor of Psychology, New York University Shanghai, Dr Cui’s research focuses on child and adolescent social and emotional development, particularly affective dynamics during social interactions, emotion socialization, culture and emotion. Cui has won the “Outstanding Scholarly Contribution to Adolescence in the Majority World Award” from SRA in 2023.
