During this holiday season, we find ourselves reflecting on our accomplishments and looking forward to the possibilities ahead.
At the ISSBD, we are working to nurture people, places, and practices. The dedication you have shown us throughout this year has been the driving force behind our successes in connecting people, places, and practices. First, in bringing together old and new members at our regional events on two continents, as well as through our webinars and networking activities. Second, in creating new opportunities for early career scholars and collaborative international research. Third, in supporting research-practice partnerships and making your wonderful research accessible to diverse audiences.
Your scholarship, creativity, and leadership are making a vast difference. Your kindness, generosity, and engagement are connecting us as a truly international organization. Thank you!
Our committees have actively shaped our mission, and I wish to thank all committee members wholeheartedly for your incredible commitment and work.
This is a time of transition: The old world has gone, the new has yet to come. Let us look at what can be and let us lead the scientific search for positive human development. Across our international networks, we have seen what is within reach when we work together.
