About the speakers

Jia Montgomery

Jia obtained her Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and is currently a lead data scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton. She is proficient in mixed methods and has experience in clinical developmental assessment. In her current position, she uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to conduct formative and impact evaluations on public health quality improvement organizations nationwide.

Diogo Gonçalves

Diogo António Fernandes Gonçalves, founder of Nudge Portugal and Invited Professor at IST, specializes in behavioral economics and decision-making. With a B.Sc. in Psychology, an M.Sc. in Data Science, and currently a PhD candidate at Tilburg University, Netherlands, he bridges theory with practical applications in consumer behaviour and design thinking.
