ISSBD Elections 2025

Nominations for the 2025 elections are now open!

We are excited to invite all members to participate in the process that shapes the future of our esteemed association.

In this opportunity, we are now accepting nominations for the following positions:

• Secretary General (2026-2032)
• Treasurer (2026-2032)
• Membership Secretary (2026-2032) 
• 3 Executive Committee (EC) members (2026-2032)

Description

In the Society’s Constitution and By Laws, the tasks of the three key officers are described as follows:

The Secretary General reports the transactions of the Executive Committee of the Society, serves as a member of the Conference Committee, and supervises the elections of the Society.

The Treasurer is responsible for the receipt and disbursement of Society funds.

The Membership Secretary maintains records of membership, receives membership dues, and maintains accounts of membership dues.

Nominations

Nominations should include the following:

1. Name, affiliation, and e-mail address of the nominee
2.  A brief statement about the nominee’s strengths and assets to fill the vacant position or office
3. A CV (if at all possible)

Nominations must be sent by May 15^th, 2025, to Luc.Goossens@kuleuven.be

The elections will take place from September to November 2025.
