Webinar: Global Voices: Strategies for International Research Communication

The International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD) and Child & Family Global Outreach (CF-GO) have partnered on a free 12-part webinar series supporting Early Career Scholars to communicate developmental science beyond academia.

For the 12th and final session, Dr. Daniela Aldoney Ramírez and Dr. Silvia Helena Koller will share practical strategies for communicating research across countries, cultures, and contexts.

How can researchers make locally grounded work visible internationally? How can they build meaningful collaborations across borders while ensuring that the context behind their research is not lost?

This session will explore practical approaches to communicating developmental science across cultural and national contexts, building international connections, and contributing to global conversations.

Dr. Daniela Aldoney Ramírez
Universidad del Desarrollo, Chile

Dr. Daniela Aldoney Ramírez is a developmental psychologist and researcher at Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile. Her research examines parent–child relationships and children’s emotional, executive-function, and language development, particularly in diverse and disadvantaged contexts. She also serves as the ISSBD Regional Representative for Chile.

Dr. Silvia Helena Koller
Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

Dr. Silvia Helena Koller is a leading developmental psychologist whose research focuses on resilience, community violence, social vulnerability, and ecological approaches to human development. Her work has contributed significantly to developmental science, international collaboration, and the promotion of child and youth well-being, with extensive research in Brazil and South Africa.
